Some non-Japanese customers may not be able to use
“Simple Mobile ID Verification” online.

This may happen if:

✔ Your address was not registered when your Residence Card was issued
✔ You changed your address after your Residence Card was issued

In this case, the address stored in the IC chip may not match your current address.

If the IC chip information does not match, online verification may not work.
